Colombia. Vertiv inaugurated its Integrated Business Services Hub in Bogota, with the aim of strengthening its operations in Latin America and supporting the region's rapid digital transformation through local talent as a key driver of its growth strategy.
After eight years in the Colombian market, contributing to the country's tech industry by supporting customer applications and driving innovation in critical digital infrastructure, Vertiv opened a new hub in the business district of Bogota. The new facility supports 47 workstations and will provide back-office services and high-quality services to strengthen Vertiv's global operations.
"Colombia is a country with enormous potential and a strategic position in the region to continue strengthening our operations," said Alex Sasaki, vice president of Vertiv LATAM. "This expansion is also a step to grow hand in hand with our Latin American employees, who have proven to be instrumental in helping our clients in their digital transformation journey."
The opening of the new hub in Bogota marks a strong step in Vertiv's strategy to anticipate the growing demands of the sector, making it even more critical to have operations centers that enhance regional talent and the provision of services on a global scale.
"Colombia is a growing market for technology and business services, making it an ideal location for our new hub," said Felix Bailer, vice president of global business services at Vertiv. "The addition of the Bogota hub reaffirms our global commitment to innovation, operational excellence and better support for our customers around the world."
