Latin America. After a strategic participation in ISE, Fonestar reaffirmed its commitment to the Latin American market. Under the direction of Luis Meirelles, the company's LATAM Manager, a clear roadmap has been drawn up that combines technological innovation in professional audio with an ambitious regional distribution strategy.
Innovations presented at ISE
Fonestar's offer for this cycle stands out for its versatility and specialization. Among the main releases are:
Speaker Systems: The new SKY 3" line, the Sonora series (including the Sonora 5 Dante model) and the new Zenit pendant models.
Professional Audio and Business Music: Full Range Lignum speakers and LUX low-impedance amplifiers were introduced, along with higher performance power amplifiers and configuration flexibility.
Local Connectivity: The new Wall Mix Series wall panel, which integrates microphone, Bluetooth and auxiliary inputs.
Advanced Microphones: The Mic Tone, Mic Note, and Mic Zone desktop lines, designed specifically for corporate and service environments.
Luis Meirelles told AVI Latin America that these solutions are designed to cover a wide spectrum of end users. Fonestar defined critical sectors such as health, education, hospitality, shopping centers, offices and restaurants, even extending its scope to applications in the Armed Forces.
2025 Balance and 2026 Projections
Despite global challenges, Fonestar closed 2025 with motivating figures in Latin America. The growth has been driven by the "vote of confidence" of installers and integrators in the AV, security and IT sectors, who have incorporated the brand into their recurring projects.
Currently, Fonestar has official distribution in Peru, Chile, Paraguay, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Mexico, in addition to operations via integrators in Uruguay, Ecuador and Honduras.
"Rome was not built in a day, but the way we work — with proximity, respect for business and competitive prices — we know that 2026 will be a great year," Meirelles said.
For this year, growth efforts will focus on establishing solid distribution channels in Colombia, Panama, Ecuador and Honduras, markets where the company is already in advanced talks to consolidate its presence.
