Latin America. Biamp announced the launch of the Biamp BMA 360D, a state-of-the-art ceiling microphone array with Dante audio connectivity and advanced beamforming technology.
Designed to work with any Tesira™ DSP system using Dante, the BMA 360D expands the Biamp portfolio with a flexible solution that caters to the broad professional audio market, offering the exceptional audio quality that Biamp is known for.
The ceiling format represents a new deployment option for customers looking for discrete, architecturally integrated audio capture, in spaces ranging from conference rooms to open offices.
The combination of the Biamp BMA 360D with a Tesira DSP offers users exceptional customisation, echo cancellation and AI noise reduction. The BMA 360D has integrated beamforming processing and sends audio to the Tesira DSP as a self-mixed beam or can send individual beams in separate Dante channels.
It ensures consistent gain response and natural speech reproduction across all beams, while adaptive steering with predefined or custom beam patterns provides precise coverage in a variety of room configurations. Built-in power amplifiers and versatile mounting options make it easy to deploy in modern collaboration, presentation, and learning environments.
This product launch follows Biamp's acquisition in October 2025 of ClearOne's intellectual property and brands, bringing decades of audio engineering innovation to Biamp's portfolio, including intellectual property and patents related to beamforming microphone arrays.
As part of the integration of ClearOne's technology assets, Derek Graham, former CEO of ClearOne, joins Biamp as DSP manager, along with other members of the engineering team, bringing his deep expertise in digital signal processing to strengthen the company's already strong audio engineering capabilities.
