Mexico. The Colombian artist Manuel Turizo, offered a massive concert at the Arena Guadalajara as part of his international tour "201 Tour" on December 2, with AEQ technology for the management of the event's internal communications.
Recognized for hits that have reached millions of streams globally and for a solid international career, Manuel Turizo continues to consolidate himself as one of the key names in pop and Latin urban music. His time in Guadalajara was one of the most outstanding dates of his tour, with a technical production of great magnitude according to the magnitude of the show.
The concert took place at the Arena Guadalajara, one of the most modern and relevant indoor venues in Mexico, prepared to host large musical productions and first-class events. Its dimensions and technical characteristics make it a particularly demanding space in terms of coordination and communication between the different teams involved.
This project was led by Alejandro Villareal of Video Conceptos, in collaboration with the local distributor Viewhaus and its commercial representative Raúl López, as well as Cesar Reyna as manager of the AEQ Mexico office.
During the show, AEQ's Xpeak and Xplorer MAX intercom systems were used, which allowed fluid, clear and reliable communication between the different technical departments of the production. As an important fact, only one MAX antenna was necessary to cover the Guadalajara Arena, allowing a wide technical coverage with the least possible equipment.
In events of this magnitude, where areas such as sound, lighting, video, production and production are involved, real-time coordination is key to guarantee the correct development of the show. AEQ's intercom solutions are designed to respond to these types of demanding environments, offering stability, flexibility and ease of use in live productions.
The presence of AEQ technology in a concert of these characteristics reinforces its position as a provider and manufacturer of professional communication solutions, not only in broadcast environments, but also in large live events and high-level music productions.
The Xpeak and Xplorer MAX systems are part of AEQ's intercom ecosystem, aimed at covering from medium productions to large technical deployments, adapting to the specific needs of each project and facilitating the daily work of technical professionals. In addition, the Xpeak IF interface will be added to be able to interconnect third-party systems via Dante and analog, allowing interoperability with different audio systems.
With this type of implementation, AEQ continues to expand its presence in the live sector, providing solutions that contribute to the success of complex productions and the correct coordination of teams in large-format events.
