In the Caribbean, hotels and airports move the AV

Fernando Hernández, Musitempo

Dominican Republic. With 22 projects running simultaneously, the Musitempo company can point out that 2023 started very well for the markets in which it operates. Fernando Hernández, CTO/Project Director of the company, highlighted to AVI Latin America a positive outlook.

"Fortunately I would dare to say that 2023 started us with a very good project agenda in relation to 2022. Specifically in the Caribbean, in the Dominican Republic the hotel and airport sector has kept us quite entertained and enthusiastic that we finally recover normality. We are currently in about 22 simultaneous projects between the hotel, transport, commercial and residential sectors," he said.

And this positive outlook for Musitempo is achieved after going through an affectation due to the shortage of equipment that was experienced the previous year. Fernando Hernández assured that, thanks to the wide portfolio, they were able to mold the projects and needs according to those brands that had inventory and shorter delivery times. And although the situation persists, it has improved reasonably.

On the trends that generate interest in the market that operates, they have identified, in video, the systems of Led cabinet arrangements, as well as an awareness in the private and educational sector to adopt Public Address and Mass Notification solutions for crisis management purposes.

In InfoComm Show, he hopes to find, more than new technologies, to be able to recover the human part of the industry, to be able to socialize, connect and educate. As well as seeing brands willing to work on the individual development of each territory in order to have more organized and profitable markets.

Fernando Hernández ended by saying that "2023 will undoubtedly be a year of rebound for our company and associates. We expect exponential growth, as well as the continued expansion of our reach in Latin America and the Caribbean."
