Argentina. The infrastructure solutions company for data networks, Matcom, started 2026 with growth expectations, a firm commitment to the incorporation of new technologies and expansion into new markets.
"We expect a much better 2026, with greater activity. The outlook is a first half of growth and the second half of the year, consolidating economic activity," said Fernando Garavatti, president of the company.
"Our priority will continue to be the incorporation of new technologies and digital transformation through initiatives such as the automation of processes through Artificial Intelligence and the launch of our B2B Ecommerce store, a project that is already under development," he added.
According to Garavatti, one of the main challenges for this year is the correction of "key points that depend on the government and politics, such as the labor reform and the long-awaited change in tax regimes. The pressure is very high, becoming suffocating," he said. "With these modifications, the economic matrix will change. Undoubtedly, there are industrial sectors that need it to reactivate and invest."
During 2025, Matcom's main businesses were focused on structured cabling, fiber optics, security cameras, and UPS power solutions.
In addition, the firm expanded its portfolio with top-tier brands such as Legrand's Starline, Exwaiti, TP Link and Schneider's APC, while consolidating the brands it already marketed.
"From a commercial point of view, the result was acceptable, in a context of high competitiveness and low profitability, accompanying customers in each of their projects."
"It was a very intense year in every way, full of challenges and great learning. We intensified our relationships and commercial meetings through events, business rounds and sponsorship actions, which allowed us to gain presence both in the sector and in new markets. In addition, we have strengthened ties with our customers and suppliers, consolidating relationships of trust that will continue to be key in our strategy for the future," he concluded.
