Colombia. Building Automation Summit (BAS) 2026, the leading building automation summit in Latin America, is pleased to announce the formation of its Content Advisory Committee, comprised of four leading experts from the technology, automation and energy efficiency sector in Latin America.
This committee will play a key role in proposing and reviewing the content, lectures, and panel discussions that will be at the core of the event. It will aim to ensure that the BAS 2026 programme maintains the highest technical relevance and covers the most critical trends that will define the future of smart buildings in the region.
"Having the support and guidance of professionals of this caliber is vital. Their experience ensures that the content we offer to integrators, consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, manufacturers, and all the public that will be at BAS is not only current, but also responds directly to the operational and technological challenges of the Latin American market," said Víctor Alarcón, Project Manager of the event.
The Members of the Advisory Committee:
• Gisele Sosa (Mexico): Expert in design and retrofit of integral BMS/EMS projects, she specializes in automation systems based on standard/open technologies (BACnet, KNX, ModBus, LonWorks) applied to home automation and building automation. In addition, it provides training and supply of control systems in the region.
