Latin America. DCC Technology announced its rebranding to Nexora, introducing a new identity and direction that reflects the group's evolution into a unified, purposeful community of specialty companies.
More than a name change, Nexora marks a significant breakthrough, defining the future of the group with clarity, purpose and drive. The rebrand brings together twenty-seven specialized companies and 2,500 people under a shared vision to deliver innovative technology that enriches lives.
"This is an exciting milestone for our company," said Clive Fitzharris, CEO of Nexora. "Nexora reflects who we are today and where we are headed: a community of specialized companies based on deep experience and strong partnerships. It's an identity and direction that captures our energy, our ambition, and our belief in the power of technology to enrich lives. I'm proud of the inclusive process that has brought us this far and grateful to our teams who helped shape this new chapter."
A name shaped by its people
The road to Nexora began in March 2025, when colleagues in the group were invited to propose names for the new identity. More than four hundred ideas were submitted.
Nexora was chosen for its simplicity, positive energy, and alignment with our purpose of delivering innovative technology that enriches lives. Made up of "Nex," meaning "near," and "Ora," meaning "energy," Nexora symbolizes progress, momentum, confidence, and forward movement.
"Our goal was to create a name that would unite our companies and inspire progress," said Vishal Chhatralia, Chief Digital and Innovation Officer at Nexora. "Nexora brings clarity and motivation. It reflects the future of our group and the energy of the people who drive our success. This identity gives us a strong platform to tell our story and strengthen our partnerships."
A Connected Community of Specialists
Nexora is the identity of the group that unites twenty-seven specialized companies and two thousand five hundred people. This shared identity strengthens the connection between markets, improves collaboration, drives innovation, and reinforces a strong sense of belonging throughout the community.
A Group Forged by the Strength of Specialists
Nexora includes Comm-Tec in DACH, Italy and Iberia, Azenn and Connect in France, Hammer in Europe, Captech in the Nordic region, and Almo and JAM in North America. Together, these specialty companies bring decades of proven leadership in their markets.
Almo celebrates eighty years of activity this year. Comm-Tec celebrates forty years. Hammer will turn thirty-five next year. JAM recently celebrated fifty years. This heritage remains intact and remains central to how we serve our partners.
Low-margin IT exit and retirement of the Exertis name
Following the complete sale of Exertis' IT businesses in the UK and the exit of low-margin IT activities in France, Spain and the Netherlands, the Nexora family companies are retiring the Exertis name. This strategy allows Nexora to focus entirely on its main strength: developing strong specialized businesses in markets where it can bring significant added value.
