Latin America. Avid released Pro Tools 2025.12, bringing feature enhancements for music creation and audio post-production. The latest version of Pro Tools introduces new support for immersive mixing with UHD World Association (UWA) Audio Vivid, enhanced SoundFlow functionality with built-in Bounce Factory Lite, and new Inner Circle rewards from innovative plugin and content partners.
These new features build on several revolutionary integrations and feature-packed updates released in 2025, from its collaboration with Splice to AI-powered speech-to-text, which helps creators streamline their routine tasks and deliver their best work with smart tools.
New Immersive Audio Support with Vivid Audio
Pro Tools now offers native support for Audio Vivid, the world's first AI-powered immersive audio codec standard. Developed by UWA, Audio Vivid gives creators the ability to precisely position and move sound objects in three-dimensional space, delivering immersive experiences while retaining the essence of the mix in any playback environment, from headphones to multi-speaker setups.
Pro Tools Studio and Ultimate users can access Audio Vivid through the Audio Vivid Production Suite, allowing for direct mixing and rendering within the Pro Tools session. Supporting multiple immersive mixes in a single project, users can quickly mix and edit in various formats and deliver content for various creative applications, from film, television, and music to home theater systems and in-vehicle entertainment.
Bounce Factory integration accelerates delivery
Andrew Scheps' Bounce Factory, the industry standard for mixing mixes, stems, and deliverables, is now fully integrated with Pro Tools via SoundFlow. Available as Bounce Factory Lite, the tool appears directly in the edit window, giving all Pro Tools users instant access to the fastest mix delivery workflows.
This builds on Avid's collaboration with SoundFlow, which earlier this year brought more than 1700 free pre-built macros and AI support to Pro Tools, allowing you to automate repetitive actions such as stemming bounce, creating tracks, and browsing sessions.
