Now we are TecnoMultimedia InfoComm

altLatin America. The good results of the first version of TecnoMultimedia 2010, the Congress on the integration of audiovisual systems, held in Medellín, Colombia, were fundamental for InfoComm, the most important association of the professional A/V sector in the world and Latin Press Inc., the organizing company of TecnoMultimedia, to partner for the realization of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm 2011.

The most benefited from this alliance will be the attendees, who will enjoy not only the academic programming but will also have a greater offer of suppliers of audiovisual systems and the latest innovations in the industry within the commercial exhibition.

For Rodrigo Casassus, director of InfoComm for Latin America and the Caribbean, "the Latin American audiovisual market is served by InfoComm in the United States, which generates very large limits for the industry. But this product is going to represent immediate benefits for consumers, because they are going to have the exposure in their region and they are going to meet the specialized suppliers that they have there; In addition, there are many manufacturers worldwide interested in Latin America and they will see in TecnoMultimedia InfoComm an opportunity to venture into this geographical area".

The alliance between these two companies will not represent radical changes in the event, but it will contribute to the development of the Latin American audiovisual community. According to Max Jaramillo, president of Latin Press Inc., "The idea is that this is a brand that is distributed throughout the region. In fact, InfoComm has events in Europe, Dubai and China and this is an extension that seeks to grow towards Latin America and we with our editorial experience are a natural partner for them."
