Latin America. The Luskin Center in Los Angeles hosted the second version of the SAVe global conference, on September 24 and 25, a meeting attended by around 100 people.
The event saw the launch of the manufacturers' committee, which includes Mike Rogers and Wendy Feldstein from Crestron as co-chairs. There was also a panel of manufacturers that included Sony's Joyce Kwan, Fohhn's Fernando Vidal Wagner, Legrand's Kathryn Gaskell, Shure's Althea Ricketts, Crestron's Wendy Feldstein and Panasonic's Jeff Gray.
In addition, the second version of the Sustainable Designs and Installations Guide built by the Sustainable Designs and Installations Committee led by Juan Carlos Gutiérrez was socialized.
Among this year's keynote speakers were Christine Schyvinck, CEO of Shure, Cindy Pereira Cooper – Senior Program Officer, The Lemelson Foundation; Co-Founder, Engineering for One Planet and Christina De Bono, Founder & President, SAVe.
From Latin America, Filippo Ferlini from Epiphan, Virginia Molina from Proyecciones Digitales, Carlos Dalmarco from CD Consoulting, Carolina Sosa and Juan Carlos Gutiérrez from Integración AV participated in the meeting.
