Latin America. Christie will present the Eclipse G3, a unique 6DLP projector that delivers true HDR performance for unsurpassed image quality. Eclipse G3, the third generation of Christie's Eclipse technology, will make its debut at CEDIA Expo, which will take place between 3 and 6 September.
In the SR7 room, in collaboration with Seymour-Screen Excellence, projecting onto one of its screens as part of a home theater system valued at more than one million dollars.
The Eclipse G3 is designed for applications that demand the most immersive and realistic experience possible, including ultra-high-end home theater systems, planetariums, and themed attractions, delivering the highest level of viewing performance.
With a level of detail and color depth unmatched by any other projector, Eclipse G3 delivers true HDR performance for the deepest and darkest blacks imaginable on screen. With a sequential contrast ratio of up to 20,000,000:1, which is 100 times superior to Rec. 2100 contrast performance, Eclipse G3 delivers exceptional detail in extreme black areas and spectacular specular highlights. Colors are rich, saturated, and realistic thanks to the Eclipse G3's color gamut, which covers approximately 98% of the Rec. 2020 color palette.
Eclipse G3 supports up to 120Hz in 2D and active 3D at up to 60Hz per eye with native 4K resolution. With this new generation of Eclipse technology, not only is the 30,000 ANSI lumens Eclipse G3 brighter and more durable, capable of maintaining full brightness for 50,000 hours, but it is also more refined, with built-in pure RGB laser lighting and a more compact and easy-to-install design.
Christie at the CEDIA Expo Exhibition Centre
In Hall SR10, Christie joins Alcons Audio to present a CP4425-RGB cinema projector with pure laser and VDR. VDR is a patented technology that allows Christie CineLife+ Series projectors to analyze each frame of incoming video in real time and calculate and modify the output laser power as needed in each frame. Content is optimized for contrast, detail in black levels, and energy savings, all while retaining the original creative intent.
Attendees will also be able to experience Christie's LED solutions at Ascendo's booth no. 4312. A four-by-nine MicroTiles® LED array with a 0.75mm pixel pitch will showcase the impressive visual performance of this technology, driven by 24-bit internal processing and 4K support at 120Hz.
A 163-inch diagonal and 0.9 mm pixel pitch UHD Core III LED video wall will also be on display. Attendees will also be able to get an up-close look at static projectors, such as an M 4K25-RGB pure laser projector, a 1DLP 4K1600-JS laser projector from the Jazz series and a 4K860-iS projector from the Inspire series.
