Latin America. Barix brings AI-based personalization to the information and communications industry with the introduction of a new Claude AI framework for its FLEXA family of control and audio over IP devices.
This new development environment simplifies the creation of applications for AV professionals, system integrators and in-house technology managers by enabling AI-assisted programming on Barix's proven FLEXA hardware platform.
Barix's FLEXA architecture combines purpose-built hardware, optimized firmware, and proprietary audio-over-IP libraries to help users quickly build custom applications using AI-generated code. The new framework is optimized for Claude AI thanks to Barix's custom-developed "AI Skills", which improve the success rate in first coding, leveraging Barix's extensive experience in audio over IP and its software libraries.
The AI ecosystem will initially support four FLEXA products: the MPI400 FLEXA intercom and I/O device, the M400 FLEXA stereo encoder/decoder, the LX400 FLEXA professional broadcast codec, and the Barionet M44 FLEXA programmable network I/O controller.
The new AI framework reflects Barix's philosophy of offering its customers open and programmable solutions, significantly reducing barriers to custom development.
