Latin America. After almost 4 years of having arrived at Planar Leyard, first as an application engineer and then in the commercial part, initially in charge of Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Bolivia and Chile, Boris Díaz was appointed as Sales Manager for Central and South America.
In dialogue with AVI Latin America, Boris Díaz highlighted his satisfaction with this new challenge. In addition, he pointed out that among the main tasks are to continue with the good image and positioning that the company has in Latin America.
"It is well known that we have become a standard for broadcasting, the big television channels use our brand, control centers have also been a very strong field. But we want to strengthen others, such as in the rental industry, in events. So I think there is a lot to sow and accompany our distributors and integrators," he added.
Regarding the most outstanding markets in the region for the LED screen market, Boris Díaz pointed out that Mexico and Chile are very strong, Colombia is a country with exponential growth, and they have other emerging markets such as Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
"We have great efforts around our partners in each of these countries to support them in their commercial and customer-facing strategies. And there are many projects. In control centers, for example, we have had interesting projects in Colombia with Ecopetrol; we have had projects in Ecuador with the Bank of Guayaquil, and there are ongoing projects, projects in Chile with companies that work a lot on digital signage. We also have technological renewal projects in Central America on television channels. There is a lot of movement and we are very optimistic about what this new stage brings for us," he concluded.
