Latin America. Guntermann & Drunck, G&D, in collaboration with sister company VuWall, launched VisionVS, a dual-coding device that combines video wall display and KVM control in a single, compact solution.
Designed to simplify and optimize control room integration, VisionVS improves operational performance while reducing system complexity in control room environments.
VisionVS combines G&D's Vision product line, consisting of dedicated, high-performance KVM and KVM over IP solutions, with VuWall's VuStream IP encoding technology. The device captures KVM sources and transmits them as a G&D bluedec™ stream to G&D KVM matrix systems, while also emitting a proprietary VuWall stream to VuWall PAK processors for video wall display, KVM operator stations, or remote access.
This single-device solution connects both ecosystems, enabling pixel-accurate video quality and near-zero latency, with the ability to stream content to remote locations, while reducing the amount of hardware required, minimizing cabling and the number of components, and simplifying control room deployments.
Compatible with both fiber and copper connections, VisionVS features a DP1.1 DisplayPort input (up to 2560×1600 at 60Hz or 4096×2160 at 30Hz) and an HDMI 1.4 output with loop (up to 2560×1600 at 60Hz or 4096×2160 at 30Hz). It offers a video stream with pixel-perfect resolution and near-zero latency, as well as a second stream with low bandwidth. Both streams support encryption and color fidelity up to 4:4:4.
By simplifying system design, reducing installation components, and enabling efficient real-time signal distribution, VisionVS enables integrators to shorten project timelines and reduce ongoing support requirements.
End users benefit from a more agile and intuitive workspace with immediate access to critical information, essential in demanding environments such as security operations centers, transportation monitoring, process control, emergency response facilities, and other high-demand environments.
