Alfalite launched its latest innovation in LED screens

Alfalite lanzó su última innovación en pantallas LED

Latin America. Within the framework of its Partner Meeting 2024, which brought together nearly 90 employees from around the world at its factory in Huelva (Spain), the company Alfalite announced its new MATIX AlfaCOB & AlfaMIP technology for high-resolution and high-brightness applications.

"We are proud to introduce MATIX to the market, an achievement of our engineering team that has employed the most advanced components to provide these LED panels with unique electronic and mechanical characteristics. This innovation sets a new standard in image quality, marking a milestone in the LED display technology sector," said Jesús Cabrera, CEO of Alfalite.

The MATIX AlfaCOB & AlfaMIP process consists of performing a total encapsulation of the LED module by using various compounds through protectors and superlative optical properties that are part of each of the layers of Alfalite's technology. These layers coat the surface of the PCB with the flipchip mounting of the LED diodes.

MATIX Alfalite's COB & MIP technology – an evolution of the brand's successful ORIM technology – offers less reflections and less reflection and glare, as well as protection against impacts, liquids and chemical agents. It also has an extended viewing angle up to 175º horizontally and vertically, protection parameters against static electricity ESD> 10kV, greater thermal dissipation and better chromatic and light uniformity.

It also improves light distortion at module and panel junctions, without limiting chip brightness and without discoloration from heavy use. In addition, it incorporates Ultrablack contrast for optimal blacks and Anti Blue Light visual comfort certification, and has the shortest repair time on the market. Alfalite MATIX COB & MIP has just been nominated for best display technology at the Inavation Awards 2025.

Bet on Rental, Broadcast and Film VP XR
Alfalite also unveiled during the Partner Meeting its new Neopix series, the brand's flagship product that incorporates MATIX technology. Available in five different pixel pitches 1.5mm, 1.9mm, 2.6mm, 2.9HB mm and 3.9HB mm, this is a top panel for Rental, Broadcast and VP XR Film with a need for high resolution.

These common cathode displays provide greater efficiency, lower power consumption and heat reduction, with redundancy in the power supply and receiving card. They offer a brightness of 1900 cd/m2 nits (indoor) and 5000 cd/m2 nits (outdoor), contrast of 20,000:1, and Wider Color Gamut 99% DCI P3 & 87% REC.2020. These new panels offer absolute reliability, and unmatched quality and performance, and have the most precise curved fast lock on the market, said Luis Garrido, executive director of Alfalite.

Alfalite lanzó su última innovación en pantallas LEDThe Spanish manufacturer also presented to its partners the other product that incorporates MATIX technology, the UHD Finepix Series. It is an Ultra HD panel for critical missions in Control Rooms, Corporate, Broadcast and Entertainment with five different pixel pitches (0.6mm, 0.9mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, and 1.8mm), made with AlfaCOB (Chip on Board design by Alfalite) or AlfaMIP (MicroLED in package design by Alfalite) for MicroLED mounting. This panel can optionally have a redundant power supply and receiver card.

The company also unveiled the new panels of its Modularpix series for demanding fixed installations in Entertainment, Corporate and Retail, available in four different pixel pitches: 1.9mm, 2.6mm, 3.9mm and 3.9HBmm. They maintain the possibility of corner configuration, horizontal or vertical mechanical mounting, and front access, with the modules and power supply accessible from the front for repairs.

Alfalite's 2024 Partner Meeting was attended by nearly 90 partners of the brand, including distributors, integrators, customers and technological collaborators, who came from the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Montenegro, Portugal and Spain, among other countries, to learn about the manufacturing process and the methods and technologies that place Alfalite at the forefront of the sector.

Attendees were able to appreciate first-hand Alfalite's commitment to innovation in electronic and mechanical design, with unique technical specifications that no other world manufacturer has achieved and that have allowed it to achieve a prestigious positioning of a high-quality and reliable technological product manufactured in Spain in a market monopolized by Asian multinational companies.
