Christie launched 49 ́ LCD display and ultra-narrow bezel

Latin America. Christie has increased its Extreme Series of high-performance LCD displays with the addition of the FHD493-XE 49, an ultra-narrow bezel display model. With a width of 1.8mm from bezel to bezel, advanced brightness and color homogenization and compatibility with Christie Phoenix EP, the FHD493-XE is ideal for high-performance 24/7 operation in applications that require a video wall with imperceptible separations.

The Christie Extreme Series ensures the homogeneity of brightness and color throughout the display and the calibration of each panel, thereby eliminating many of the usual image settings when installing video walls. Its integrated electronics allow you to scale the videowall to 10x10 and 4K configuration and transport multiple streams through up to four panels. But in addition, the Smart Light Control makes it possible to adjust the brightness of each panel to achieve the uniformity of the videowall and a constant performance throughout its useful life.

Using an OPS slot, the Christie FHD493-XE supports the Christie Phoenix EP integrated processing solution, installable directly on the FHD493-XE to process network sources and decode and manage video and data sources across multiple Christie panels.

The FDH493-XE model complies with the ADA depth standards, and its Christie ML20 mounting makes it a very suitable display for videowalls installed in public places or with space limitations. Like the other displays in the Extreme Series, the FHD493-XE is backed by Christie's prestigious support service and a three-year warranty. Available from July 2018.
