Boxlight launches interactive flat panels with Android

Latin America. The ProColor Series 1 interactive flat panels are the latest release from the Company Boxlight. This new line comes with Android system included that offers an instant digital whiteboard as well as an integrated web browser, bringing a new level of ease of use to the classroom.

This system allows students to live a more collaborative learning experience. In addition, they include the MimioStudio class software to easily create and present engaging lessons. The software also offers full integration with Boxlight's other Mimio products, including MimioMobile's first collaboration and evaluation app.

"We design our products to meet the current and future needs of students, faculty and school IT administrators. ProColor HD and UHD/4K interactive displays promote a high degree of interactivity and reveal details to increase readability. Students need sturdy, bright displays, images large enough to be able to read text from anywhere in the classroom, teachers want technology to be a tool rather than a burden," said Stevan Vigneaux Vice President of Product Management and Development at Boxlight.

Some features of the new ProColor interactive flat panels:

  • Available in a wide variety of sizes – models: HD 55", 65", 70" and 65", 75" and 84" UHD 4K.
  • Up to 10 users with a single touch or 5 users with double touch as well as gestures that work simultaneously with 360º touch interactivity, promoting collaborative learning.
  • Access to a large number of applications in Google Classroom through the integrated browser of the Android Operating System
  • Built-in speakers with stereo quality, this eliminates the need for a standalone audio system.
  • LED backlight, which offers long-term confidence and contributes to low power consumption.
