Panasonic expands range of screens for digital signage

Latin America. Panasonic launches the EF1 series to expand its range of professional screens for digital signage, and incorporates monitors of 84, 75, and 32 inches to the LFE8 series, which was presented last year at the ISE fair.

The new EF1 series, scheduled for launch in spring 2016, offers high image quality, reliability and standalone functionality, all in sleek IPS panels. Each model includes a USB media player, eliminating the need for set-top boxes or connected PCs. In addition, this series allows you to play synchronized content on several screens using the USB media player, as long as the connection is made through a LAN network and a hub.

"The efficient LED technology generates a brightness of 350 cd/m2 at Full HD resolution, and together with the Panasonic IPS panel, which guarantees wide visibility, in addition to maintaining lateral chromatic performance, make the EF1 series an extraordinary and at the same time economical solution for the digital signage sector or for its general use in offices and classrooms", says Enrique Robledo, Marketing Director of Panasonic.

The new EF1 series includes a wealth of connectivity options, with two HDMI, DVI-D, USB, PC/component ports and video inputs joining the LAN, RS-232C and IR input and output terminals. In total, they support 59 types of PC signals.

The EF1 series will be available in 32.75 and 84 inches, expanding the current options of the LFE8 series, available in 43, 48, 55 and 65 inches, resulting in a very complete range of professional displays.

This series supports Multi Monitoring and Control, Panasonic's free software, which extends networking functions to include distributing content across multiple screens across the PC, as well as the ability to automatically turn on and off, toggle USB input, and play content based on a program. All this is ideal for schools, showrooms, commercial spaces and offices.
