United States. CEDIA management appointed Randy Stearns, owner of Engineered Environments, a company located in Alameda, California, as the new president of the association, replacing Randy Vaughan. Stearns has been a member of the board of directors since 2005 and has been an active member since 1993."Randy's contribution to the industry and cedia has been instrumental in driving positive change and growth in the partnership in recent years. He has been a member of numerous committees, boards and action teams and is a perfect complement to the leadership role as president of CEDIA," said Vaughan.
Randy's involvement with CEDIA encompasses a wide variety of positions, including chairing the EXPO Extension Council; He also served as treasurer, was part of the best practices action team, was an instructor, among other positions. He most recently served as vice chairman of the Board of Directors.
