The Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi was the main stage for the nineteenth version of the Commonwealth Games held in October, for which it was remodeled with a permanent Electro-Voice audio system, similar to the one used at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in mid-2010.Bosch India was in charge of the installation and commissioning of these equipment, among which are a line-array of 132 XLC127DVX compact boxes, 120 Sx300PI speakers, 300 EVID 6.2 passive speakers and 60 ZX5-60PI speakers, complemented by TG amplifiers for a power of 107dB on average and a maximum of 115dB, controlled and supervised entirely by a single laptop, through the IRIS-Net software .
All devices installed outdoors comply with the IP55 standard for weather resistance, as well as the 0.55 RASTI standard for spoken word intelligibility.
