According to a press release issued by the Japanese manufacturer, on July 9 a showroom and demonstration of its products was inaugurated. John Scarcella, President, Sony Electronics, BBSC Division; Shige Morikawa, vice president of Sony Electronics, BBSC division; and Luiz Padilha, vice-president of Sony Electronics, BPLA division, cut the ribbon inaugurating such locations, which are expected to benefit customers in Latin America and the Caribbean. "This new product and technology showroom is going to be very useful for our sales, marketing and engineering team as they will be able to use it to do their seminars, trainings and product demonstrations. Customers are welcome at any time to see new products from the wide range of products that Sony offers both professional and broadcast," said Daniel McDonald, marketing solutions manager, Sony Electronics, Inc., BPLA division. "Here we will be able to demonstrate the interoperability of our products with accessories and components from other manufacturers. Account managers can count on more support whereby the customer will benefit from better choices when making their decisions," added Greg Umbay, marketing solutions manager, Sony Electronics, Inc., BPLA division.
