Kaká will promote Sony products

Last July Sony Corporation made it official that Sony Latin America Inc signed a promotional support contract with Ricardo Ezecson dos Santos Leite, better known as Kaká, chosen as the player of 2007 by FIFA (International Federation of Association Football). This Brazilian soccer star, who currently plays for Milan, will promote Sony's High Definition (HD) products and a wide range of products from this renowned brand worldwide.

According to Sony, Kaka's worldwide recognition, thanks to the sport of crowds, will contribute to promoting Sony's HD experience which covers products such as Bravia LCD TVs, Blu-ray disc recorder players, Handycam TM and Cyber-shot TM. The Japanese brand plans to feature the talented 26-year-old footballer in various advertising campaigns that would include television commercials and web productions.
Sony's relationship with football is not new. Proof of this is the contract of global partnership programs that he signed with FIFA  in 2005, for a period of 8 years. In the same way, this brand has actively collaborated as an official FIFA partner since January of the previous year.
De Kaká can be noted that he was born in Brasilia, Brazilian capital, on April 22, 1982 and that he is currently a player of A.C Milan of the Italian Serie A. The previous year, in addition to the recognition mentioned above, he won the Ballon d'Or, awarded by France Football magazine; the title of the best world player of the year chosen by FIFPRO (World Organization of Professional Football Players); the distinction as the best scorer and striker of the UEFA Champions League and the Ballon d'Or of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Outside of sports, Kaka has served as an Anti-Hunger Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme.
