Latin America. Bose Professional announced its new DesignMax Luna DML88P pendant speaker system, which delivers space-filling, high-fidelity sound with a sleek, modern design.
The system is suitable for environments with open ceilings, such as shops, restaurants, breweries, gyms, and other sites where design plays an important role.
At the heart of Luna is Bose Professional's innovative patented Ring Array™ configuration, which combines eight precisely placed 2" mid-to-high-range drivers and an integrated 8" woofer to create a smooth, articulate listening experience that fills the coverage area without hot spots or dead zones.
This innovative design achieves exceptional clarity and balance up to 40Hz, eliminating the need for external subwoofers even in open-ceiling spaces. With a maximum SPL of 111 dB and consistent 140° coverage, Luna delivers powerful, immersive sound that requires fewer speakers to cover large areas, preserving both aesthetics and budget.
"DesignMax Luna represents a breakthrough in pendant speaker technology," said John Maier, CEO of Bose Professional. "We have reimagined what is possible in architectural audio, offering a product that meets the highest standards of sonic performance and visual elegance. Luna is a testament to our commitment to technical leadership and meeting the evolving needs of our customers."
Luna was specifically designed to solve the installation problems often encountered in spaces with open ceilings and adapt to the constraints to maintain a perfect balance. Luna supports single- or two-point suspension, with an optimized profile and hidden wiring that provides a clean look from all angles.
