Latin America. Elation's Proteus Radius ushered in a new era in long-range beam lights with its LILI (Laser Illuminated Illumination Instrument) light engine. Now, this long-range power reaches a new level with the new ultra-long-range Proteus Atlas.
This intense FX IP66 beam is comparable to 7K xenon reflectors, but offers numerous design features and operates at a fraction of the power.
The Proteus Atlas is designed to conquer great distances and paint the sky with precision, allowing designers to boldly illuminate on a large scale. Designed for flagship events and large-scale productions, ATLAS offers unmatched power, weather-resistant durability, and the creative flexibility to create stunning air shows with ease.
What sets the Proteus Atlas apart is its laser-based LILI light engine, which produces an extraordinarily bright and dense xenon beam with crisp definition. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, the Proteus Atlas generates a staggering 1,000,000 Lux at 20 m (100,000 Lux at 100 m), projecting a concentrated beam of light that can span impressively long distances.
The ultra-narrow beam is projected from a huge 320mm (12.5") front lens like a huge column of light, adding a stunning visual impact to any event or environment. Highly efficient and with minimal heat production, the LILI motor offers a long service life of 12,000 hours without significant degradation in brightness or quality, reducing replacement and maintenance costs.
The Proteus Atlas includes Elation's innovative Sky Motion system, which allows it to function as a striking reflector effect without the need for a dedicated lighting controller. Multiple luminaires can be seamlessly interconnected, while a variety of dazzling motion patterns are easily adjusted in size, speed and colour directly from the screen. The Sky Motion system allows for independent operation and is easy to set up and adjust directly from the luminaire display, even for users who do not use lighting.
Protected by Elation's market-proven Proteus technology, the Atlas' rugged aluminum housing and advanced marine-grade coating provide operational reliability in demanding outdoor and indoor environments.
With an IP66 rating and a sealed optical system, it resists rain, snow, coastal air, and moisture, reducing maintenance and maximizing its uptime. Its high-speed motors, continuous panning, and smooth-moving architecture ensure fast, fluid performance even in demanding environments, from cruise ship decks to desert festivals.
Ideal for outdoor events and shows, theme parks, cruise ships and the perfect spectacular effect for large-scale shows and concerts, the sky becomes a visual canvas for the Atlas Atlas' intense beam of light and its powerful prism and flower effects, providing a new level of creative control for designers working on a monumental scale.
