International. Blaze Audio, a brand that until now was part of the audio manufacturer Pascal, has just been acquired by Sonance. The transaction will take effect on July 1, 2025.
"We launched Blaze in 2020 and the brand, which serves commercial installation customers globally, has seen significant growth. However, this created strategic challenges that diverted attention from our core business, PASCAL, which is why we made the decision to sell," stated Gustaf Høskuldsson, CEO of Pascal.
He added, "This transaction ensures that Blaze continues its trajectory under SONANCE's ownership, while allowing us to dedicate all of our resources to our core business, Pascal ODM, which serves leading professional audio brands. As a result, this transaction represents a triple win: Blaze gains focused ownership to drive its expansion, PASCAL is focused on its core ODM business, and our pro audio customers benefit from Pascal's intensified innovation and service."
With the divestment, Pascal will focus entirely on delivering world-class amplification technology and software solutions, exclusively within its ODM business. This strategic shift also means that the company will suspend loudspeaker development, underscoring its commitment to amplification electronics innovation and operational excellence.
As part of the transition, the Blaze team will join Sonance and continue to operate from its Copenhagen offices, which will now become part of Sonance's global presence.
