Latin America. The latest addition to Chauvet's Maverick Storm family, the new IP65-rated spot/beam/wash projects a smooth, flat field of light thanks to its LED motor, which replaces a lamp, thus eliminating annoying hot spots, even at the narrowest zoom. This makes it the ideal device to tackle a common problem in broadcast applications, as well as excel on tour.
Regardless of whether it's an ultra-narrow beam or a wide focus, the Maverick Storm 1 Flex with its advanced lens technology projects a uniform and constant field light that makes it easy to combine multiple units of this device to achieve beautifully balanced textured aerial or wall effects.
Thanks to its balanced light and no hot spots, this versatile device can produce crisp, defined gobos (both static and rotating) at the tightest zoom, opening the creative door to the kind of super-focused aerial effects that set any lighting design apart from the rest.
The dual gobo wheels feature seven swivel and ten static positions for greater design flexibility, especially when combined with the vibrant colors that the luminaire produces. For added creativity, the luminaire even features a combination of static and rotating gobos that allows you to create gradient effects that create a pleasant atmosphere.
This rugged, tour-ready device is packed with features, including a CMY+CTO variable color mixing system, CRI and CTB filters on its color wheel, as well as a higher CRI chip for greater color rendering flexibility. Thanks to its color rendering capabilities, the Maverick Storm 1 Flex has a unique ability to produce true reds.
There's also an animation wheel that produces richly textured effects and digital dimming with 16-bit dimming of the master fader for perfect control of fades.
True to the ease of use of the Maverick Storm 1 Flex, this machine offers DMX, CRMX, sACN and Art-Net for complete flexibility of control options. It also has RDM control over DMX for reporting.
