CALA Awards opens applications for AV and lighting projects

CALA Awards abre postulaciones para proyectos AV e iluminación

Latin America. Within the framework of IntegraTec Mexico, AVI Latin America announces that the call for the CALA AWARDS 2025, awards that celebrate excellence in technological integration in Latin America, is now open.

With two main categories, "Best AV Project" and "Best Lighting Project" in collaboration with IALD, these awards seek to highlight projects that make a positive impact on the region and their respective industries. Those interested have until June 27, 2025 to apply for their initiatives.

The "Best AV Project" category recognizes solutions that integrate audio, video, lighting and automation systems, and that are operational before the closing date of the call. The juries will evaluate criteria such as the use of cutting-edge technologies, the impact on people's quality of life, and the relevance of the project for the benefit of the country or region. Potential applications include corporate, commercial, entertainment, and government sectors.

On the other hand, the "Best Lighting Project" category, presented in partnership with the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), rewards innovative proposals that stand out for their creativity, energy efficiency and aesthetic design. Lighting design experts and IALD members will select the finalists, taking into account technical and artistic aspects that demonstrate excellence and achievement of objectives.

The CALA AWARD™ ceremony will be held on August 13, 2025, during IntegraTec Monterrey, where the finalists, who will travel at the invitation of the organization, will share their experiences and details of the project in an exclusive panel.

The winners will be chosen through a vote open to the public, will receive a trophy of recognition and a featured article in AVI Latin America, highlighting their impact on technological integration in the region.
