Harman to improve audio experience for Nascar fans

Harman mejorará experiencia de audio a aficionados de Nascar

International. Harman made official its partnership as Nascar's technology partner, with the aim of offering premium audio experiences to racing fans through future audio updates for the tracks.

This alliance enables NASCAR to design and implement high-quality integrated audio systems using HARMAN Professional Solutions' brands, including JBL Professional speakers, Crown amplifiers, BSS digital signal processing and more.

Through this technology partnership, HARMAN's expertise and product offerings will help improve sound quality for NASCAR racetrack racing fans, as upgrades are required at any of NASCAR's 14 venues.

In addition to the main outdoor areas of the circuit, NASCAR venues feature numerous indoor spaces where intelligibility and high-quality audio are essential for announcements, broadcast coverage and music.

"JBL and NASCAR are two iconic brands that were founded just two years apart in the 1940s and will now collaborate to power one of the world's most exciting and most-watched sports," said Brian Divine, president of HARMAN Professional Solutions. "Every day, thousands of fans around the world enjoy audio through a JBL system, and we're excited to partner with NASCAR through this technology alliance to bring them even closer to the action with superior sound."

Founded in 1948, NASCAR is the primary regulatory body for stock car racing in North America and operates 14 tracks, including Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Michigan International Speedway, Phoenix Raceway, and more.
