Martín Saúl, new SVP Latam of AVI-SPL after purchase of ICAP

Martín Saúl, nuevo SVP Latam de AVI-SPL tras compra de ICAP

Latin America. AVI-SPL completed the process of acquiring ICAP Global, with its operations in different countries in Latin America and Spain. The merger of the two companies creates a major provider in the AV, UCC, workplace management and experience technology market capable of serving customers around the world.

With the addition of ICAP's operations, AVI-SPL has expanded its reach into Spanish-speaking global markets and deepened its ability to serve local customers.

John Zettel, Chief Executive Officer of AVI-SPL, said: "This merger represents a transformative moment for our company. ICAP Global has an excellent reputation as a technology leader in the Latin American and Spanish markets. As we merge, we will accelerate our global growth and uniquely position ourselves to deliver an exceptional, seamless customer experience everywhere our customers need us."

With ICAP, AVI-SPL adds branches in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Spain. AVI-SPL will immediately begin integrating ICAP equipment, best practices, and operations into its own operations using a proven playbook that seamlessly supports customers, suppliers, and employees throughout the process.

ICAP's former Global CEO, Martin Saul, added: "The solutions and services represented by the AV and integrated experience technology industry have become ubiquitous in almost every sector in every region. We see this as the ideal time to merge with AVI-SPL to form a truly global provider with the expertise and reach needed to support customers throughout Latin America and around the world." Saul is also the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of AVIXA LSC, which promotes and tracks the growth of the AV and experience technology market.

After completing this negotiation, which had been announced in mid-2024, Martín Saúl assumes a new position within the company, as SVP South America and Iberia of AVI-SPL.
