Latin America. Bose Professional announced the global availability of two new AMU multi-purpose speaker models, the AMU108-120 and AMU208-120, as well as two new mounting accessory options.
These additions extend the flexibility of the AMU Series, offering new options for wider coverage while maintaining the high-powered sound, exceptional vocal clarity, and rich musical depth that make it ideal for a variety of applications.
The new AMU108-120 features a constant directivity horn with a redesigned waveguide, offering wide, uniform coverage of 120° x 60°. It is equipped with an 8'' Bose Professional LF8 woofer, which produces 121 dB peak SPL and a frequency response of 80 Hz to 16 kHz.
The larger AMU208-120 model provides the same 120° × 60° high-frequency coverage, combined with dual 8-inch Bose Professional LF8 woofers. This configuration offers an impressive peak SPL of 126 dB and a frequency response of 70 Hz to 16 kHz.
AMU Series mounting accessories also offer increased installation possibilities and include a new pole adapter and new suspension rail brackets, as well as stainless steel "U" shaped brackets, surface mount pan and tilt brackets, and single-point suspension brackets with multi-angle attachment points.
All AMU Series speakers come with a UV-resistant finish and an IP55 outdoor rating, so there's no need for custom ordering or weather conditioning surcharges.
