Holoplot updates its design ecosystem

Holoplot actualiza su ecosistema de diseño

Latin America. Holoplot has released the latest version of its sound system design software, Plan 2.0. The release features a cornerstone of the company's second-generation software capabilities, which began with a major update to its operating system, OS2.0, earlier this year.

While OS2.0 enhances the core technology of Holoplot, Plan2.0 now gives users access to innovative new features and enhancements within the sound system design software itself. A new user interface and workflow improvements make the design and simulation of sound systems more intuitive and efficient than ever before.

"The Holoplot Plan serves as a gateway to Holoplot's revolutionary technology. Our unmatched steering capabilities provide previously inaccessible levels of sound control, allowing you to precisely tailor your system layout, which can be visualized within the software," said Adele Gardner, senior product manager at Holoplot Plan.

He added that "Our goal is to make our unique capabilities easily accessible to our users. We offer the same well-established and familiar workflows known in the industry, and combine them with our advanced 3D Audio-Beamforming capabilities, all accessible through an intuitive interface that makes it easier than ever to work with Holoplot systems."

Presets functionality: Users can now create multiple presets within a single Holoplot Plan project file. By changing the presets, a user can change the entire beam layout, transforming the system and venue, from a live performance to a cinema, from a single-language lecture to a multi-language lecture with multiple zones, all with a single click.

Beam Library: Users can now generate an unlimited number of beams, all manageable through the new library view. Creating multiple versions of a beam simplifies its management and removes limitations on creativity. All beams are optimized directly within the software, making Holoplot Plan an integral part of the Holoplot workflow.

Real-time simulation and SPL heatmaps: Integrating settings and simulation into a single 3D display port allows for immediate real-time feedback as well as adjustments, ensuring optimal sound distribution and clarity.

The latest version of Holoplot Plan 2.0, as well as extensive learning materials and user guides, are available for download from the Holoplot Hub.
