Minrray arrived in Latam and is looking for distributors

José Miguel Davids y Adolfo Rasmussen de Minrray Latam

Latin America. Three months ago, the company Minrray began its operations in Latin America, offering its AV solutions focused on telemedicine, corporate and education.

José Miguel Davids, commercial manager of Minrray Latam, told AVI Latinoamérica that "Minrray is a Chinese manufacturer that generates the entire process of study, engineering, design, manufacturing. It has 30 patents in relation to automatic tracking algorithms, technology related to video and manufactures equipment for other companies, mainly in the United States."

The start of its operations in the region departed from the Southern Cone in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and are now concentrated in the central region in Mexico, Guatemala and Panama.

"The strategy is to offer a product of the highest quality and providing integrators with a high profit margin, reaching end customers at a very good price. To achieve this, we are looking for distributors throughout the region," explained José Miguel Davids.

On the shortage of products, Minrray has no problems with stock, except with a new video bar that has a delay of 30 days. For the rest of the products they have immediate delivery with air dispatches without cost overruns.

Mexican market
As part of the expansion in the region, the company participated a couple of weeks ago in TecnoMultimedia Mexico. In this regard, the representative of Minrray Latam stressed that the work in Mexico is to be able to establish a commercial relationship with integrating companies and large distribution channels, which take the brand to position it and at the same time distribute it to their different channels of integrators.

He added that "We have a very auspicious projection for the Mexican market, both in the corporate segment and in education, judicial and government. For this we will be choosing 2 or 3 representatives in Mexico with exclusive products, with the idea that there is no competition between them".

Finally, about TecnoMultimedia Mexico he pointed out that "it has been an experience that exceeded expectations. The attendees spent a lot of time reviewing the products, generating contacts, clarifying for us much more how the market is operating and we see potentialities today that we did not know before coming to the fair".
