With ConsorcioTec, Aavara seeks to grow in Latam

Virginia wu, aavara

Latin America. Aavara is one of the manufacturers in the audiovisual industry that has joined as a preferred supplier to ConsorcioTec, the first purchasing group for integrators in Latin America. AVI Latin America spoke with Virginia Wu, Director of Sales and Marketing, to learn more about the company.

He stressed that Aavara is a company that was born in Taiwan in 2006, was formed with experts in the AV and IT industry such as Logitech, Viewsonic, among others. To offer their solution to more customers in Europe with fast delivery of 3 business days, they established a logistics center located in the Netherlands. It was the first company to provide supports for screens in Taiwan establishing a logistics hub at the time.

"We have 2 product lines, comprehensive professional supports for screens and the audiovisual distribution solution, called AV over IP. We developed our own video control software and at the same time, the compatibility with other prestigious brands stands out to satisfy the integration of systems in any commercial, residential, corporate environment," he said.

Linking to ConsorcioTec

When virginia Wu was asked about the company's link to ConsorcioTec, she stressed that "Aavara's sales scale has covered the main continents, and we want more advertising in Latin America in which we are very interested and I personally like Latin American culture and I also speak Spanish. It's time to establish our brand and serve our customers there. We want to officially link up with a trusted recognized organization that manages to connect new companies/brands and innovative products directly with local integrators and we are happy to meet ConsorcioTec through which we can fulfill our purpose with a more direct path."

He stressed that Aavara hopes to provide ConsorcioTec partners with benefits from its two product lines, with a comprehensive range in the commercial, residential and government sectors, with high quality and cutting-edge technology developed and made in Taiwan, the island of technology, which is considered the "Silicon Valley" of Asia.

"Our products facilitate in a practical and simple way the installation of audio visual service and are also very compatible with other brands already installed or newly installed in the distribution of video," he said.

Impact of Covid19 on the industry

The pandemic that we have been experiencing for a year around the world has generated changes and impacts on businesses from which the AV industry is not exempt. For the representative of Aavara, although most of the commercial activities are pending or postponed, there are new transformations that are formed in the AV industry; are the increased requirements of the residential and government sector.

He added that 2020 was a time with many challenges, to which they had to react by facing and adapting to reality quickly. Strategically, they created new social networks, as well as innovative videos in a more interactive way with customers, they also gave the product training session to resume technological advances related to ProAV. Virtual sessions were optimally leveraged and these clients obtained certification at different levels by successfully completing them. This represents a great motivation to keep moving forward during the pandemic.

"We expanded the scale of the residential market to provide our AV distribution solution integrated with third-party home automation systems such as Control4, Elan, Savant, RTI and more. In 2021 everyone has already adapted to a new work and personal transformation. I believe that we will continue to manage the ProAV sector thus providing the benefit of our database established to support our customers to prepare for reactivation; this is a main theme for this year," he concluded.
