MyUC arrived in Panama with Cable & Wireless

Panama. BroadSoft and Cable & Wireless strengthen their technological relationship to offer the Panamanian market "MyUC" Powered by BroadSoft. This service is based on BroadSoft Business' UC-One unified communication application, which offers cloud PBX and trunking services, high-definition audio & video calling, conferencing, instant messaging, presence monitoring, and virtual team collaboration with file sharing.

Currently, collaborative and multitasking work intensifies the need for unified communications in Latin America, according to a study by Frost & Sullivan, which shows that the focus on quality, security and price are factors that allow market penetration. The study forecasts that the regional market will reach $1.409 billion by 2020, including commercial telephony, unified communications and video conferencing.

This represents a solid opportunity for cloud services, because now any mobile device can be integrated with business communications. "MyUC" offers an intuitive quick access interface that integrates a worker's preferred communication applications into a single application that can be downloaded to all mobile devices (personal computers, smartphones or tablets), allowing users to communicate and collaborate anywhere in real time.

"UCs have become the preferred solution for businesses as they are built to open standards, increasing their quality, flexibility and efficiency. This solution was developed so that companies can comply with best practices to take full advantage of corporate communications functions. "MyUC", powered by BroadSoft, allows users to access corporate communication services from any fixed or mobile device," said Emilio Flores, Executive Director - Commercial Division of Cable & Wireless Business.
