The fair presents a complete academic program with seminars on different topics, aimed at professionals in the region. The educational program is created and supported by InfoComm International, a non-profit institution, founded in 1939, which currently offers its more than 5,000 members, spread over 80 countries, an extensive educational program on professional audio and video technology, global market research, news about audiovisual technology, and organization of events such as trade fairs and round tables.

InfoComm's training and certification programs set a standard of excellence for AV professionals. Therefore, the Tecnomultimedia InfoComm Mexico 2014 congress will feature the association's traditional seminars for the AV industry, as well as the InfoComm Industry conferences, which are purely educational and do not promote any specific company or product.

Education for AV Professionals

During the days of the exhibition, InfoComm seminars will be held, which may include topics such as: AV installation and design best practices, new and upcoming AV standards, video signals and video conversion format, HDBaseT, Specification of AV systems, acoustics and the fundamentals of the vision of AV design, project management for audiovisual projects, among others. These InfoComm seminars are not only aimed at audiovisual professionals but also at experts in other fields such as IT engineers, who have interests in the AV world.

Likewise, the InfoComm Industry conferences seek to provide professionals from specific disciplines with information on AV technologies that can help meet their business needs. Tecnomultimedia InfoComm Mexico 2014 will feature two special talks aimed at the live events and promotion industries, as well as the Information Technology (IT) industry.

The conference for the IT Industry will deliver to professionals in the sector, technicians, department directors or IT managers, concepts focused on topics such as: audio and video in IT infrastructures; what IT professionals want and need to know about audio and video; digital signage; media streaming, and much more. These talks seek to help IT professionals working with AV systems or AV professionals.

For professionals in the live events and promotion segment, topics can include advanced acoustics, live broadcasting for media events,  transmission of digital signals over long distances, handling interactivity with archival and live images, among others. Notably, the seminars offer an opportunity to increase knowledge in areas known as acoustics, learn about new technologies, and identify opportunities to increase revenue and create unforgettable events.

This fourth version of Tecnomultimedia InfoComm Mexico will provide professionals in the audiovisual industry with a large and varied exhibition of technologies, as well as a complete academic offer, created for the actors of the sector in Mexico, with which they can be updated, in addition to sharing experiences and knowledge with their colleagues.
