Datapath launched Aligo, a world-first AVoIP technology that allows different video resolutions to be shared across different network bandwidths simultaneously.
Aligo works seamlessly with Datapath's latest Aetria solution, giving users a single interface for versatile screen layouts and content management in control rooms. Aligo offers never-before-seen levels of technology in video processing, allowing users to connect and share video sources in any resolution without affecting the original quality.
Innovative technology delivers flawless quality 4K content over a 10G network and streams compressed into 1G infrastructure at the same time, delivering unprecedented quality and flexibility in content delivery with latency of less than milliseconds. The current product range includes the Aligo QTX100 quad 4K transmitter and the Aligo RX100, a single 4K receiver with quad HD outputs. A 1U rackmount kit supports Aligo RX100 applications (8 HD outputs).

Aligo's main 10G channel delivers content using Datapath's proprietary DS10G codec:
- Designed for pro-AV applications: Designed specifically for use in professional, mission-critical installations.
- Built by Datapath: Benefiting from decades of experience in video processing and management, DS10G has best-in-class signal acquisition, EDID handling, gene blocking, and mode management.
- Uncompromising quality: DS10G delivers visually lossless content, with zero-latency 4K60 in-frame encoding, optimized for switched distribution over 10Gb networks.
- Reliability by design: Designed for critical applications, DS10G has built-in resistance against bit errors, jitters, and discarded packets.
Simultaneous live streams
Aligo's secondary 1G channel provides a secure and compressed live stream of every input:
- Flexible distribution over 1G: Each input is provided as an SQX live stream encoded as HEVC (H.265) or AVC (H.264)
- Security comes first: encrypted streams are only received by legitimate users and decoded by pre-authenticated Datapath resources.
- Configurable external access: The administrator can configure RTSP streams for remote viewing, archiving, or integration into third-party systems. Aligo is fully managed and controlled by Aetria, Datapath's integrated solution for the design, management and operation of control rooms of any size.
