Audio-Technica's new 6000 series is an efficient spectrum wireless microphone solution that allows users to package 31 channels in a bandwidth of 4 MHz.
The channels are spaced at intervals of 125 kHz and can be used simultaneously. The system operates in the band 944-952 MHz, which allows it to avoid the spectrum of television broadcasts, very overloaded. The FCC has expanded the licensing right to include sound companies and concert halls, which typically use 50 or more wireless microphones.
The 6000 series is available with pouch transmitters, which can be used with lavalier microphones and Audio-Technica headband type. An antenna distribution system is also available.
