Samsung introduces outdoor signage solution

Latin America. Samsung presented the new OMD Series, composed of Digital Signage monitors for semi-outdoor and outdoor environments. This new Series is specially designed to help property owners increase the impact of their messages in outdoor areas thanks to backlit displays with high brightness LED technology, intense colors and energy efficient.

The monitors in this series offer a brightness level of 2,500 nits to attract and seduce the public thanks to better visibility and readability whatever the lighting conditions. The automatic brightness sensor optimizes energy consumption and provides optimal visibility and brightness in various light environments.

The monitors integrate the second generation of the "Samsung Smart Signage" platform (SSSP) including the MagicInfo Player S2 CMS so that the update and publication of content is simple and the configuration is orderly without having to have additional PCs or Media Players connected to the monitors.

Available in two formats (integration kit and finished product), with screen sizes ranging from 46 inches to 75 inches, OMD Series monitors can be adapted to various outdoor signage environments, as well as , can be integrated into custom housings or used as standalone monitors.

With smaller thicknesses and thinner frames than conventional semi-outdoor monitors, it allows to complement the aesthetics of any company, from cosmetic stores and entertainment venues to food stores, fashion and quick service restaurants. 

The ultra-thin frames and the reduced frame-frame distance of only 15.8 mm make these monitors an option to create spectacular videowalls or impressive independent displays in shop windows and windows.
