New range of Panasonic displays

International. Panasonic has launched three new series of displays for professional digital signage, three series characterized by class-leading reliability, high brightness and exceptional sharpness and flexibility.

These series represent a total of ten screens divided by categories: the upper range LF80, of 700 cd/m2, the standard range LF8, of 500 cd/m2 and the basic range LFE8, of 350 cd/m2; all of which incorporate Full HD LED backlight technology.

The LF80 and LF8 ranges feature robust IPS panel technology and offer a wide angle of visibility as well as excellent resistance to the effect of image degradation due to overexposure, and are designed to operate uninterruptedly.

In addition, they are characterized by an edge of only 12 mm wide, a depth of less than 60 mm, daisy-chaining capability via DVI-D for up to 10 displays and USB cloning.

For its part, the LED backlight of the LFE8 series guarantees high image quality and low consumption. In addition, the screens can be configured in 5 x 5 videowalls through the magnification function and are characterized by an edge width of 7.5 mm1, capacity to be arranged in a vertical position2  and USB cloning.

To reduce wiring complexity and eliminate the need for set-top boxes, Panasonic has incorporated a simple signage player on all its displays that allows you to decode a whole set of video formats from a USB device.

In addition, the LF80 series displays include DIGITAL LINK connectivity for 1080/60p video transmission, with audio and control commands via a single LAN cable up to 100 meters.

The LF80 and LF8 series (available in 42", 49" and 55") will start shipping in July 2015 and the LFE8 series (available in 43", 48", 55" and 65") will do so in May.
