Latin America. Avid introduced the compact Avid Venue S3L-X live sound system, which will allow live sound professionals to more easily meet the growing requirements of range, size, complexity and diversity of today's live sound.
Avid Venue S3L-X allows engineers to mix and record live shows efficiently and create new material or the final mix of live event recordings for commercial purposes.
The Avid Venue S3L-X system and ProTools Software are part of the Avid Artist Suite solutions and are powered by the Avid MediaCentral Platform. When used together, they offer the most efficient, economical and tightly integrated approach to mixing and live recording productions.
The system offers expanded networking, control and processing to meet a range of demands of live performances. Customers can reduce complexity and cost by sharing the same inputs and outputs across multiple S3L-X systems, with automatic gain compensation. With its support for 64-bit AAX DSP plug-ins, plus eucon open network protocols and AVB Ethernet, the Avid Venue S3L-X system ensures compatibility with a variety of products from Avid and other companies, now and in the future.
The Avid Venue S3L-X system comes with the new Venue 4.5 software and allows live sound professionals to:
