Argentina. With an investment of about US$130,000, the Marconi Theater in Saladillo will receive the installation of a new sound and video system in its room, which will be carried out by the Argentine company Pro Show, with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, and is expected to be completed by March of this year.A main line array system of 16 boxes and a cinema-like surround sound system will allow the presentation of recitals and live events, as well as films or for conferences, and a projector with a special lens to present cinema in the old room.
The project was awarded to Pro Show through a public tender by the municipality of Saladillo, as explained by the engineer director of Planning, Mariana Rolando, who added that the lighting will be granted at the end of February. For his part, Eduardo Corna, representative of Pro Show indicated that they were invited to participate in the tender through a specific design for this theater and said that the remodeling works will take between 30 and 45 days.
