Finally, CTA organizers Steve Koenig and Lesley Rohrbaugh presented the findings of Tech Trends to Watch 2021 and gave an exclusive preview of the U.S. consumer technology industry forecast. Retail revenue for the technology industry will reach $461 billion in the U.S. in 2021, an increase of 4.3% year-over-year.

The report added that as millions of Americans stay at home and rely on technology to stay entertained, connected and healthy during the pandemic, streaming services, 5G connectivity and digital health devices will stand out in the tech sector in 2021.
