ABSA Group is atlona's new AV commercial distributor

Mexico. Atlona has designated Grupo ABSA as its distribution partner for the AV commercial area in a wide swath of Mexico, covering 14 major metropolitan regions, including Chihuahua, Guadalajara, Juarez, Mexico City, Monterrey and Tijuana.

ABSA Group will focus on increasing Atlona's brand recognition and market share with a large community of IT and network consultants and integrators who increasingly require networked AV solutions for end-user projects.

A long-time representative of Panduit, ABSA Group has built a strong customer base in the industrial, data communications and electrical markets, in which the company regularly supplies network infrastructure and IT solutions. AbsA Group has received more and more inquiries from consultants and integrators looking for "secure and reliable" AV solutions that can be easily integrated into new and existing IP networks. The ABSA Group team emphasizes that Atlona will help meet the demand for growing business opportunities in the unified communications segment.

"There is a unification of many different platforms in IP networks that is taking shape, and Atlona will play a pivotal role in how our customers transition from AV operations to the network," said Carlos Garcia Ramirez, Chief Commercial Officer of Grupo ABSA.

According to Ramirez, ABSA strengthens its local service and support by providing resources at all 14 locations, including sales, service, and a fully operational warehouse with inventory. This allows ABSA to react quickly to questions from consultants and integrators about new projects and provide systems design and engineering services as needed. Ramirez and his team will also work closely with Atlona on training, education and certification initiatives, the first of which is scheduled for December in the Guadalajara region.

"Atlona continues to increase its visibility across Latin America, it will be a key appointment for our partner network, and ABSA's knowledge of the Mexican market and AV/IT trends makes them the ideal choice for our long-term regional strategy," said Esteban Pérez, Director of Business Development – Latin America, Atlona. "We look forward to a strong collaborative relationship for many years to come."
