Christie adds new equipment to its 4K laser projectors

Latin America. Two new models, 4K7-HS and 4K10-HS, have been added by Christie to its 1DLP laser projection line. Equipped with UHD 4K resolution and BoldColor Technology at the service of a high-fidelity color reproduction, the two models are also equipped with Christie Twist software for warping and blending and omnidirectional capacity.

These features make it possible to install it in businesses, public spaces, hotels, universities and high-level entertainment centers.

The Christie BoldColor Technology solution works with blue and red laser diodes, as well as a patented optical camera, video processing and specialized software, all to achieve great improvements in color and saturation and much more realistic visuals than those achieved with conventional laser projectors.

The two HS Series models allow 4K60 video transport with a single HDMI or Display Port cable, simplifying cable installation and routing, while the integrated camera helps the user ensure that the projector is configured and aligned for a single screen and offers automatic zoom and image focus. Both models come with two new specific 4K lenses that guarantee six global options to better meet the user's application needs.

"The HS Series is characterized by the very high image accuracy. Add to that its compact design, super quiet operation and consistent 24-hour performance, and the result is an ideal product for a wide range of applications," said Brad Martin, Christie's Chief Product Officer.

Both models, which will be on the market in August 2018, have a three-year warranty for parts and labor and the endorsement of Christie's prestigious after-sales service.
