Tripp Lite introduced three-phase modular UPS models

Mexico. Tripp Lite presented in Mexico City its new SmartOnline SV models, a line of three-phase modular UPS based on rack for critical applications, which it was affirmed, will be of great benefit to segments such as data center, telecommunications, offices, government and education, among others.

The presentation, held in the Mexican capital, was attended by Shane Kilfoil, Senior VP of International Business of the company; Juan Luis Tron, CEO of Tripp Lite Mexico; and Carolyn Brady, UPS Product Manager for the global company.

The main advantages of the SV series were demonstrated at the event. It was detailed that the systems have various power capacity options available from 20kVA to 140kVA, in three rack sizes. "These 208V three-phase UPS systems offer the flexibility and reliability needed for the growing power demands of enterprises," it said.

Among the main advantages of the new equipment, it was detailed: Capacity from 20kVA to 140kVA; scalable modular UPS platform; output power factor 0.9; more than 98% efficiency in ECO mode; automatic bypass and integrated maintenance; LCD multifunction control panel, among other advantages.

Brady highlighted: "Unfortunately in Mexico there has been a situation in which the security of energy supply is vital (referring to the contingency that occurred after the earthquakes of September 7 and 19). The certainty of the energy supply must be trusted. It's a very important part for us."

He added: "Our goal in developing the SV series was to provide businesses with a modular power solution that was energy efficient and scalable to site needs with multiple autonomy and power options. Not only do these UPS systems provide reliable power protection, but features like high output power factor and low input THDi really help reduce operating costs."

Juan Luis Tron, CEO of Tripp Lite Mexico, said: "The introduction of the three-phase SmartOnline SV UPS series confirms the company's commitment to the continued expansion of its three-phase UPS offering. Tripp Lite customers can select an energy solution that grows with their business and meets their energy needs."
