Sony expands projector range for Home Cinema 4K HDR

Latin America. Sony has expanded its range of home theater with ultra-short range thanks to the incorporation of the VPL-VZ1000ES 4K HDR Home Cinema projector, designed to integrate into the home with ease.

Sony's latest innovation in laser light source projectors supports high dynamic range (HDR) and native 4K resolution. It can be placed just 15 cm (6") from the wall, but still presides over the room with an image of 254 cm (100"), measured diagonally in 16:9.

When turned off, the compact and stylish VPL-VZ1000ES practically disappears between the décor. It's now possible to enjoy an immersive viewing experience in a wide range of home applications, from a movie theater to a living room or bedroom, regardless of the layout of your home.

The unique format of the VPL-VZ1000ES offers a whole new set of use cases. It is the ideal projector to incorporate large screens in small spaces and places with high ceilings. And since the projector is mounted on the front rather than behind the spectators, shadow problems or obstacles posed by lights or ceiling fans are eliminated. You can turn any wall into a life-size window to another world.

In modern houses and apartments with large windows and limited wall space, a drop-down screen can be placed in front of the window that allows a perfect display of TV shows, movies and sports. When you finish using it, raise the screen and enjoy the views again.

The Sony projector offers consumers the possibility to enjoy a huge screen in their living room, with a simple and elegant installation, perfect for the home. These features set the VPL-VZ1000ES apart from any other ultra-short range projection Home Cinema visual experience consumers have experienced before.

The VPL-VZ1000ES ultra-short range 4K HDR Home Cinema projector will be available from April 2017.
