Orange provides pet owners with IoT connectivity

Mexico. Tractive, an Austrian developer of hardware, applications and devices for pet owners, has signed an IOT connectivity services contract with Orange Business Services. The agreement provides connectivity for Tractive products and plans to accompany the company's business growth plans worldwide.

Orange Business Services offers SIM cards to Tractive to provide IoT connectivity in Tractive's GPS product that allows pet owners to locate their animals. With 10 million pets being lost worldwide every year, there is great potential for this service.

Founded in 2012, Tractive has expanded, reaching more than 80 countries worldwide. To offer unlimited service, Tractive chose Orange Business Services for its unparalleled connectivity. Users can locate their cats and dogs in real time, through their mobile devices, wherever the animals walk.

Michael Hurnaus, CEO of Tractive comments: "Through this service, we offer pet owners seamless, disruption-resistant connectivity on a global scale. The Orange Business Services solution fits these needs and requirements. We are especially amazed with Orange's global approach and the great teamwork they have done together with our experts. They are not only suppliers, but a reliable team to make our future expansion plans a reality."
