Mexico. Comstor announced the launch in Mexico of the enterprise collaboration platform: Cisco Spark. Gerardo Flores, Engineering Manager at Comstor, pointed out that Cisco Spark is a platform that represents the integration of Cisco's own collaboration tools with the aim of modernizing the way in which enterprise customers communicate and share ideas in a group way about a project.
Previously, Explained Flores--, different certifications and packages of tools such as Webex or Cisco Telepresence were needed, which had to be acquired separately in order to achieve an adequate collaboration model between companies. The Cisco Spark platform unifies all these tools into a single solution and facilitates communication processes between our customers and their partners.
Cisco Spark provides a collaborative space where teams can perform their tasks with agility, efficiency, and integration; with the idea of ensuring that all workers increase their productivity through instant meeting rooms with videoconferencing solutions, group or individual messages, file storage, and screen sharing, no matter where they are, all with security (encryption of information) and simple management.
The executive affirms: The solution is more than a simple messaging and video calling service or application such as WhatsApp or Skype, since it allows integration with other APIs (Application Programming Interface) and the Box solution to store and share files in the Cloud. Among its advantages, Cisco Spark can be used from any Android, iOS, Windows or Mac OS device, on which the app has been downloaded.
In addition, through the rooms of the platform, a user can engage in a private conversation with one of the team members, or start a meeting with everyone from anywhere with an Internet connection. Increasing the speed in decision making and streamlining the processes necessary for the conclusion of a company project.
Faced with such an important interface, Comstor began the preparation of its distribution channel nationwide. Flores concluded: Spark can be the ideal solution for medium-sized companies that require minimal or intense collaborative work to obtain great results.
