FBT launches its new Ventis product line

Latin America. FBT has presented its new Ventis range composed of four loudspeakers of great versatility for touring and fixed installation. Available in passive or bi-amplified versions, the Ventis 115, 112, 110 and 206 models have been designed to meet the highest standards in terms of performance and aesthetics.

Quality and flexibility are the values that best represent the Ventis range. Based on a perfect combination of B&C compression motors with custom-built, high-excursion FBT woofers, the 115, 112 and 110 models are two-way bass reflex designs housed in 15mm birch plywood enclosures.

The grille that fully covers the front, covered with a special acoustic fabric, presents the characteristic style of the FBT brand, while the rotating diffusers of constant directivity guarantee precise coverage.

The three enclosures are suitable for fixed installation and also for use in scenarios. They are equipped with M10 suspension points and feature an optional U-bracket that can be used for wall mounting. For road use, VENTIS models include rubber-coated aluminum handles, a 35mm mounting cup for speaker stand, and a 45° wedge angle for use as discreet stage monitors.

For its part, the Ventis 206 multifunctional equipment can be used as a front fill, a reinforcement under balcony, a main speaker when you need to obtain impeccable voice intelligibility, or simply as a full range complement to a subwoofer. Made of 12 mm birch plywood, the 206 model has a handle integrated into the back panel, an optional mounting bracket and, most importantly, an extraordinary size-SPL ratio.

Active Ventis models feature a specially designed and manufactured amplification module with switched power supply. For low frequencies, they use a very efficient class D topology of 700 W RMS (full bridge), with very low THD values. For high frequencies, they get 200 W RMS thanks to meticulously designed H/AB class electronics.

The DSP integrated into the Ventis enclosures is both powerful and easy to use. Located at the back of each enclosure, the panel with navigation menus is easily controlled by means of a single encoder. It offers a total of 6 optimized presets (see below), plus another 2 free settings so users can configure their own designs with 5 parametric equalizers. It also features a high-pass filter, a micro/line selector, bass, mid- and treble tone adjustments, and an optional delay of between 0 and 3.5 meters. Finally, users can choose between two limiter modes, MAX-SPL or MAX-QUALITY, which adapt the system to each application.
